Ready For His Return – April 11 2017

PrayerLife Tracy PhotoOn this day of Passion week Jesus was teaching his disciples on the Mount of Olives. Their questions centered around Christ’s return.  He told them, “stay awake, for you do not know on what day your Lord is coming. But know this, that if the master of the house had known in what part of the night the thief was coming, he would have stayed awake and would not have let his house be broken into. Therefore you also must be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.” (Matthew 24:42-44). Let’s live each day … ready for his return.

Praying for the Lost – September 5 2016

PrayerLife Tracy PhotoThe Apostle Paul passionately prayed for the salvation of the lost.  “Brothers, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for them is that they may be saved” (Romans 10:1).  In fact, he was willing to give up his own salvation if he could see more come to Christ. For I could wish that I myself were accursed and cut off from Christ for the sake of my brothers, my kinsmen according to the flesh” (Romans 9:3).  Let’s invite God to give us Paul’s passion for the lost.

Passion for the Lost – April 4 2016

PrayerLife Tracy PhotoThe Apostle Paul had a passion for the lost and he prayed for their salvation. “Brothers, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for them is that they may be saved” (Rom 10:1). Paul’s desire for the salvation of unbelievers was so strong that, if possible,  he was willing to lose his own salvation if it meant they could be saved.  “For I could wish that I myself were accursed and cut off from Christ for the sake of my brothers, my kinsmen according to the flesh” (Rom 9:3). Do we share Paul’s passion for the lost? Pray for the salvation of those you long to see place their faith in Christ.
